It was Love at First Sight
My parents were sitting around on a Sunday, reading the paper, and saw an ad for Pomeranian puppies that seemed too good to be true. They already had two fur babies and weren’t looking for another, but mom was curious why we were so cheap. Turns out I was just part of an unexpected litter, and the owners just wanted to find homes for us.
Dad said there was a good barbecue restaurant near where I was at and that they could “just look” at the puppies before dinner. But one look at me and Mom knew she had to take me home! Instead of dinner, they had to buy puppy food!
Get to Know Maisie
Breed: Pomeranian
Age: 1 year
I Love: All toys, big or small. The squeakier and plushier the better! Also my kitty brother Mushroom and my older Chihuahua/Terrier sister Mimi! Favorite treats are anything with chicken!
Best Trick: I’ve mastered shake hands finally! Only know basic commands like sit and lay down. Won’t stay unless I’m napping!
Least Favorite Thing to Do: Get my nails trimmed. Two grown adults usually have to hold me!
Naughtiest thing I’ve ever done: I chewed up my mom’s shoe. It was her fault for leaving them out!
My Nicknames: Crazy, Baby, Arg (but only when I’m grumbling), and Brat
